Millets are normally grown on dry lands with some amount of rainfall, thus requiring almost no use of fertilizers or pesticides. Therefore, our millet products are almost organic, but not 100% organic certified at this time. We will work to get our millet products certified in the near future when we feel that it can be done without making the millet products expensive to our customers.

Yes! We are always exploring to bring as many new millet products as possible into the market. Keep an eye on our homepage, where we will be posting our upcoming new millet products.

In every step involved from seed to plate, we will be making every effort to minimize our carbon footprint and support the environment. Growing millets conserves water and land in comparison to rice and wheat in the first place, but S & V MILLETS is taking water conservation a step further; we are exploring farming technology that will decrease water consumption and increase soil quality. We will also minimize the use of pesticides and are committed to using renewable packaging, lowering emissions during transportation, and more.

Therefore, millets in general are halal as they are vegan and do not contain alcohol. To provide further assurance to our customers, we will get our millet products Halal-certified in the near future!
