These millets were going extinct and people were not consuming them until Dr. Khadar Valli discovered their medicinal benefits. He calls these millets “Siridhanyalu” also referred to as “Positive Millets” due to their healing properties. Dr. Khadar Vali and his daughter, Dr. Sarala Bangalore, a homeopathic doctor as well, conduct lectures at many venues around the world. They educate people about millets and other health practices and also publish videos showing how to make a variety of delicious millet dishes and other healthy beverages.
